INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT NETWORK FOR AFRICAN DEVELOPMENT (ISNAD-Africa)
Who We Are
International Support Network for African Development (ISNAD-Africa) is a UNEP-accredited non-governmental organisation that is committed to raising global and multi-stakeholder support for greener and climate-resilient Africa through various programmes and initiatives. The organisation operates a multidisciplinary network of about 1,500 professionals, researchers, students, and youth from 140 countries across the globe who are committed to green growth in Africa. Headquartered in Ibadan, Nigeria; ISNAD-Africa has team members in 10 countries across five continents of the world. Through her diverse programmes and initiatives, ISNAD-Africa has a footprint of her impact in 22 African countries and seeks to:
- support students in African universities interested in conducting research on various sustainable energy, environment and climate change topics in their disciplines
- support researchers around the globe interested in conducting research on sustainable energy, environment and climate change topics in Africa
- facilitate capacity development programmes and technical meetings on sustainable energy, environment and climate change
- conduct enlightenment and advocacy programmes
- develop and implement sustainable energy projects
These we would achieve through collaborative initiatives of students in African tertiary institutions with sustainable energy researchers and professionals around the globe.
