The 6th Annual HOMER International Microgrid Conference
The 6th annual HOMER International Microgrid Conference, taking place October 8-10, 2018 in San Diego, in the US will present thought leaders from around the world discussing the rapid evolution of microgrids (also known as mini-grids) and the implications for energy developers, electricity consumers and utilities.
Keynote speakers will include Karl R. Rábago, Executive Director of the Pace Energy and Climate Center; Peter Asmus, Director of Research at Nagvigant, John Exel, Senior Energy Specialist at the World Bank Groun, and Peter Lilienthal, CEO of HOMER Energy. Highlighted educational tracks will include discussions of Energy Access Microgrids, Microgrids for Arctic and island Environments, Innovations in micrigrid, and a special emphasis on case studies in California microgrids.
The conference also includes tours of local microgrids in the San Diego area, and an optional third day day of training with HOMER Energy software, on October 10th. The conference will take place at the beautiful Paradise Point Resort in San Diego’s Mission Bay.
